Visual & Performing Art Classes

The Bullen Center and Thatcher-Young Mansion houses over twelve different programs for babies to seniors in visual and performing arts.  Find more information on our Art Classes page on the Education menu or click HERE.

Master Classes and Community Events at CacheArts

Participants learn from visiting artists in an instructional setting.  Enrollment is limited to enhance the learning experience and some events require a small participation fee.  Call 435-554-7065 to express your interest and find out how you can get involved.

Tours of the historic Cache Valley Center for the Arts Campus

Visit the Ellen Eccles Theatre on a guided tour. Discover the origins of Cache Valley’s early theaters and hear the about the legend of the Phoenix. Theatre tours conducted by our Education and Outreach Coordinator can benefit school groups and community groups. The history of our facility is fascinating and often ties into 2nd and 3rd grade core curriculum. Learn about community efforts to preserve and restore the Ellen Eccles Theatre and examine the architectural elements.  Call 435-554-7065 to schedule a tour for your class or group.

 

 

Matinee Performances

IversMatineeDismissal3P4140573 Each school length performance by world-class, culturally diverse artists complements the core curriculum, sparks discussion, enhances learning, and arouses curiosity in young minds. Performances last about an hour.
