Visual & Performing Art Classes

The Bullen Center and Thatcher-Young Mansion house over a dozen different programs for all ages in visual and performing arts.

Student Matinees

Each 45-60 minute performance by world-class, culturally diverse artists complements the core curriculum, sparks discussion, enhances learning, and arouses curiosity in young minds. Performances last about an hour.

Professional Residencies

Participants learn from visiting artists in an instructional setting.  Enrollment is limited to enhance the learning experience and some events require a small participation fee.

Tours of the historic Cache Valley Center for the Arts

Visit the Ellen Eccles Theatre on a guided tour. Discover the origins of Cache Valley’s early theaters and hear the about the legend of the Phoenix.  The history of our facility is fascinating and often ties into 2nd and 3rd grade core curriculum.
