Fall is in the air at the Cache Valley Center for the Arts and we are gearing up for our touring artist season, which kicks off October 13 and 14 with Cirque Mechanics Pedal Punk. The nonstop action of this steam punk circus on a bicycle theme will leave you breathless. It’s the only show besides Bar J Wranglers that we have two performances of this year, so don’t miss out.
Just a few days later, October 17, we have Mnozil Brass from Vienna Austria. This brass septet is as comedic as it is virtuosic – and we are part of a very short U.S. tour. We’re so lucky to be bringing them to Logan.
The October Gallery Walk marks the first anniversary of the Artists’ Gallery. Nearly 2,000 people have visited the gallery over the past year and many have discovered unique treasures from local artists to purchase and take home or give as gifts. If you haven’t visited us yet, don’t miss the chance at Gallery Walk Friday, October 9 from 6:00 to 9:00 or Tuesdays through Fridays between 11:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
And today we bid a fond farewell to Adam Shelton, our Marketing Director, who will be leaving us to devote more time to his increasingly successful Enlight Ballroom program. It has been such a pleasure to work with Adam and we wish him well. We’re also looking forward to seeing Enlight Ballroom’s performances in the Ellen Eccles Theatre each spring.
