  1. Utah Festival Opera & Music Theatre
    The Utah festival Opera & Music Theatre will be performing in The Ellen Eccles Theatre, July 9 to August 9.  The 2014 season is comprised of

  2. Summerfest: Arts Faire
    If you love summer, art, entertainment, or free festivals, Summerfest June 12-14 on the Logan Tabernacle grounds is the place for you.  Summerfest is a three day outdoor arts festival that features performing artist, art booths, craft activities for children and tasty fair style treats.  The event is free but bring your moolah because there will be an array of fabulous art for sale (and don’t forget the yummy treats).  Click on the image below to go to the Summerfest website.
  3. Art on the Lawn
    Saturday June 28  10-6  1491 East 2300 North in North Logan.  Art on the Lawn is a truly unique artistic experience with live performances, silent auction and hors d’oeuvres.  Andi Jorgensen will also be teaching an Outdoor Art Retreat featuring  Plein Air art on location.  Art on the Lawn is another free event.  Don’t miss a chance to see artists painting or bring your own supplies and join them.

  4. Children’s Arts Camp
    If you haven’t heard about The Cache Valley Center for the Arts Children’s Summer Art Camp by now your probably too late to sign up for the first camp but you needn’t fear, each summer there are three camps!  The camp is designed to help kids ages 5-11 experience several different art experiences in a creative and interactive atmosphere.  Click the image below to find out about dates and registration.

  5. Summer Art Workshops
    Lester B Lee is a beloved artist and art instructor that just happens to be in Cache Valley’s back yard.  Lester is most known for his artwork “Prophets”  featuring the prophets of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Lester has been an art educator in Utah for many years and has perfected the craft.  This summer Lester will be offering two workshops on for Water Color and another for Oil Painting.  Click below to learn about workshop information.

  6. Sherrie Austin
    Singer, songwriter, country music star all apply to the petite brunette Sherrié Austin. Born in Australia, Sherrié offers a unique perspective in the country music world that helped land her cuts by dozens of other artists in the last few years, including Tim McGraw’s “ShotGun Rider”, Blake Shelton’s “Good At Startin’ Fires, and even the King himself, George Strait who cut “Where Have I Been All My Life”. Most recently, Sherrie’s songwriting prowess was responsible for the hilarious duet by Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton called “If I Was A Woman”.
    Sherrie has released five solo albums and was awarded both CMT’s Rising Star Award and a Golden Guitar for best new artist. Come enjoy an evening with Sherrie Austin June 27. Click image for ticket information.

  7. The Art of Funny
    Ever wonder if you could get up and deliver a great stand-up routine? or try your hand at becoming the next viral video online because of a hilarious sketch you have written?
    The Cache Valley Center for the Arts welcomes Comedian Hayley Simpson to our organization this summer. Hayley will be teaching three classes this summer a Monologue Workshop, an Improvisation Class and a Sketch Writing Class. Hayley is a comedian/writer/actor that hails from Stratford, Ontario, Canada. She has performed in venues such as: Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club and The Rivoli’s ALT DOT COMEDY LOUNGE. Was a semifinalist in 2011 and 2013 in Yobi TV’s Yobi Laugh contest and has performed across the US. Hayley has a published book of poetry (For. . .) and was accepted into the Wasatch Page to Stage festival with “The Jam.”
